Friends In Sport is excited to announce that it will be offering private soccer coaching for children between the ages of 5 – 15 from January 2013. It has teamed up with former professional soccer player Rene Richards, who will be providing the soccer coaching.
Rene Richards played professionally for both Kaizer Chiefs and Bidvest Wits from 2001 to 2011. During his 5 years at Kaizer Chiefs he won the league title twice, the Mandela Cup and played in the 2003 Peace Cup in Korea where he came up against Besiktas (Turkey), Olympic Lyon (France) and Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma (South Korea). His main goal is “to make a difference in the lives of the youth” and he has decided to provide the private soccer sessions to children to help ensure “they not only improve their soccer skills but to bring out the best in them.”
